StreamVector Privacy Policy
StreamVector ("we", "us", or "our"), created and maintained by Vojin Lekovic, is designed to provide high-performance, dual-device live sports streaming and real-time scoreboard compositing for coaches, schools, booster clubs, and amateur sports organizations.
We are committed to absolute user privacy and data security. StreamVector does not sell your personal data, does not track you across third-party websites, and does not operate background telemetry or advertising SDKs.
1. Device Permissions We Request & How They Are Used
To deliver real-time live broadcasting, StreamVector requests explicit iOS system permissions:
-
Camera (
NSCameraUsageDescription): StreamVector accesses your iPhone's wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto optical sensors. On Phone A (Director), the camera captures the primary wide-field match gameplay. On Phone B (Scoreboard Cam), the camera captures optical zoom of the gym scoreboard. All video frames are processed in-memory via Apple Metal and hardware VideoToolbox encoders. Video frames are never uploaded to any StreamVector server. -
Microphone (
NSMicrophoneUsageDescription): Microphone access is requested exclusively on Phone A (Director Node) to record live field audio, referee whistles, and commentator voice. Phone B (Scoreboard Node) explicitly disables audio capture and does not access the microphone, preventing acoustic feedback and phasing. -
Photo Library & Storage (
NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): StreamVector requests permission to write uncorrupted master 1080p MP4 game recordings directly into your device's Camera Roll / Photos library for post-game analysis and archival. -
Local Network Access (
NSLocalNetworkUsageDescription): StreamVector uses Apple'sNetwork.framework(Bonjour and local TCP/IP sockets) to allow Phone A and Phone B to communicate peer-to-peer over local Wi-Fi or Personal Hotspot with sub-50ms latency. No local network traffic leaves your physical proximity.
2. Google Account Sign-In & YouTube Data API v3
StreamVector includes native YouTube Live integration via Google OAuth 2.0 PKCE. When you choose to link your YouTube channel:
-
Requested Scopes: We request access to
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-sslandhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly, along with basic profile/email identity. -
Strict Purpose: These permissions are used exclusively to:
- Retrieve your upcoming scheduled live broadcasts so you can select a game with 1 tap.
- Create new live broadcasts (defaulting strictly to Unlisted privacy for student athlete safety).
- Retrieve secure RTMP ingest endpoints and stream keys to route video directly from your device to YouTube Live servers.
- Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance: StreamVector's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
-
Token Storage: Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely in your physical device's encrypted Apple Keychain (
kSecClassGenericPassword). We never transmit or store your tokens on external servers.
3. Third-Party Services
StreamVector integrates with trusted platform infrastructure:
- YouTube / Google: Live streaming functionality interacts with YouTube. Your use of YouTube streaming is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Apple In-App Purchases (StoreKit): Pro subscriptions and purchases are processed directly by Apple through your Apple ID. StreamVector does not collect, receive, or store your credit card or payment information.
4. Data Retention, Disconnection & Deletion
Because StreamVector operates client-side on your devices without external databases:
- Local Recordings: All master video files remain on your iPhone. You may delete recordings at any time through the iOS Photos app or Files app.
- YouTube Account Disconnection: You can disconnect your YouTube account instantly in the StreamVector settings screen, which immediately purges all OAuth tokens from your Apple Keychain.
- Revoking Access: You can also revoke StreamVector's access at any time through Google Account Security Permissions.
5. Youth Sports & Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
StreamVector is widely utilized for youth sports, high school athletics, and amateur leagues. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. By default, new YouTube broadcasts created in StreamVector are preset to Unlisted, ensuring broadcasts are only viewable by parents, coaches, and family members who receive the direct link. Broadcasters maintain complete authority over their YouTube distribution settings.
6. Security Measures
All direct device-to-device communication utilizes secure local network protocols. Connections to YouTube Live ingest use industry-standard RTMPS (TLS/SSL encryption) to safeguard streaming credentials and media streams in transit.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app enhancements or legal guidelines. When changes occur, the updated policy will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.
